Absolutely! Anyone can learn to belly dance. The first move is the hardest, to step to that first class. :) We have all been first-time students. We're a pretty easy going group of people coming together with one goal in mind... have fun moving to music!
You only need a desire to learn something new and fun. Just wear comfortable clothes that you can move in. We usually dance barefoot or in soft no-tread shoes. Then walk into class the first time. We're so sure that you'll enjoy it that our first class is free!
No, not at all. Class is just a fun way to learn movement and exercise with friends. Performance is available and always optional.
Nope. In class we wear casual clothes or workout wear. Some show a belly and most don't.
Belly dancers are a wide variety of ages. We teach those as young as 14. However our oldest dancer is about to turn 80!
